Our Origin Story
At SquareDash, our journey began with a simple, yet excruciating realization: contractors across the U.S. are operating in a broken system. A cash flow crisis is crippling business and putting companies into bankruptcy—and it's a problem that our founder Matt Fruge experienced firsthand.
While running his seemingly thriving and rapidly expanding roofing business Roofmark Construction, Matt found himself struggling with cash flow issues stemming from delayed payments on jobs associated with insurance claims.
With payments on completed work taking 60 days or longer to arrive, the drain on his company's financials was devastating. This strain led him to a pivotal decision: he would put together a team dedicated to helping support contractors with cash flow problems.
SquareDash: No More Delayed Payments on Insurance Claims
In 2022, SquareDash was born. Our mission is to empower roofing and restoration contractors, and get them paid faster. A lot faster. Through our proprietary fintech platform, contractors can get cash in the bank up front before work starts.
With our payment advance system specifically designed for roofers and restoration contractors, business owners can maintain a predictable and reliable cash flow instead of relying on the whims of the insurance company.
Our commitment to helping roofers is rooted in Matt's extensive experience and passion for helping others. Veteran-owned and based in Fort Worth, TX, SquareDash is proud to be solving real problems for contractors across the nation.
